R.I.P. Molly 08-03-08 to 07-19-09

My sweet baby Molly passed this weekend. She had eaten something that got lodged in her colon and it was just there too long. The vet tried, but she just didn't make it. I have had dogs before...ones that died. I have never been this devastated by the passing of an animal before. She wasn't my dog, she was my baby. She was a part of every single aspect of our lives. Our entire day everyday was a routine that involved her. He was so smart and full of personality. There is no dog that could ever match her. She truly was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed. She was in our lives for only a short time, but she will remain in our hearts forever! We love you Mo Mo!!! Give Grandma Fisk kisses for me!!!

Bowling forever ago...

I forgot to post these pictures on here from I don't even remember when! We went to Main Event with Justin and some friends. We ate dinner and bowled a few games. I was introduced to the Cupid Shuffle...It was a fun night!

Upcoming Move

So, Cody and I are moving to Allen, TX in August. We have to be completely out of the apartment on the 5th and don't sign the lease at the new apartment until the 6th. That'll be fun! It actually shouldn't be that bad. We'll just have to stay the night somewhere on the 5th. ButAHH! The new apartment is AWESOME! It's going to be 2 bed/2bath, around 1200 sq ft, GRANITE counters, PLUCH carpet....I really can't wait. I'll post pics when we get in there. The BEST part is Justin and Jillian ae moving there too! We're in building 5 and they're in building 4! How AWESOME is that?! I'm just excited. Thought I'd share!

This weekend....

was a BLAST! Cody and I had so much fun together! I have really come to enjoy staying home and being just the two of us. Of course I still love hanging out with other people and going to do things, but I don't feel a need to be constantly entertained anymore. I'm loving it! Friday night I met him up at work and from there we went to the grocery store to pick up a few necessities...and other non-necessities! Then it was off to the apartment to eat dinner and color my hair! I went a little bit darker than I have in the past, and the risk paid off! I LOVE my new color! I didn't at first because it was such a drastic difference! I'm pretty sure Cody likes it too. So the rest of Friday was just chill. Saturday we slept in! When we got up we did a little bit of cleaning up and Sims playing (which we have found that we enjoy doing together). Then the day really got started! WE wen to Kim and Dennis' house and played the Wii. I won bowling by a LOT! I bowled a 223 which is my highest EVER!!! Dinner was at Chili's which was yummy!!! I highly recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch quesadillas! Once we stuffed ourselves to the max, we headed out to the MAIN EVENT of the evening! RASCAL FLATTS concert! It was my first real non-free concert. They are AMAZING in concert! It was SO humid!!! We had such a great time together! Sunday was even more shill than Saturday! Slept in again. Played more Sims. Went to the in-laws for dinner and some hanging out there. From there we went to my step-dad's store and tried helping him with a new computer program....Not as smart as I thought I was!!! Oh well! While I was doing that Cody and Justin were at the apartment doing what boys do! Came home, played the Sims alone while they hung out, and then drifted off into sweet slumber. So that was the entirety of my weekend. It was the best one I've had in a long time! Enjoy the pics!!!

So Lucky!!!

So this isn't news to me by any means, but it's funny how things can just really hit you at a moment for no reason. I am SO LUCKY to have Cody! That's not to say that we have a fantasy marriage without complication, because we definitely have our moments!! But I just got to thinking yesterday that he is such a wonderful man. I do complain sometimes, but when I look back on the situation, there really was never anything to complain about. I would NEVER want to go out into the dating world again! I wouldn't be able to find another man like him if I looked for a hundred years! I have found, too, that I love him because of our differences in personality, not in spite of them. He is simple when I am complicated. He is frugal when I want to spend money nilly willy. He is calm when I am hysterical. He is silly when I am sad. He is funny when I am serious. He is understanding when I am ridiculous. He makes me think about things when I just want to take them at face value and fly off the handle. He laughs when I say something stupid. He tells me I am perfect and beautiful even when I am not having a bad day. He says it because he believes it to be true always. He really and truly is my other half. He is everything I am not. Like I said, I always know these things to be true...but I've just been thinking about it since yesterday and wanted to share!!!

This Weekend

This weekend was great! My BFF Jillian (also engaged to my brother-in-law, Justin) flew in on Friday. So she and Justin came over Friday night and went out to eat with us! Then it was back to our place for fun and games. That is the most fun I have had in a long time. I really cut loose (as evidenced in the pictures)! Then Justin dropped her back by on his way to work and the fun of Saturday began! I love chillin just the two of us! I can REALLY talk to her and we are so much alike that we really get each other. On the other hand, we have some major differences! I am SOOO glad she's moving here and becoming my sister!!! So, on Saturday we went to get my hurr did by the fabulous Selena. After that we went back to the apartment and watched Vanity Fair (great movie). The boys got off work, went out to eat at Cheddar's with the whole family for the May b-days...much fun. After that was over the boys dropped us off at the house and went to the store...brought back flowers...good move! Then more fun and games with the addition of Justin's friend Steven, who is very, um, proper. Sunday morning found us in McKinney eating breakfast with in-laws. Church after that then back home. A little cleaning and relaxation then dinner with my parents, which is always fun! All-in-all it was a fabulous weekend full of friends, family, and SO MUCH FUN! I can't wait to do it again!
