Update, such as it is....

I haven't really posted much as of late because there isn't really much going on! We are very much enjoying the new place! Chloe is having some trouble getting adjusted I think, but we are trying different things which is all we can really do. She is sweet though, so I'm sure it will all work out! Justin and Jillian are getting married in 18 days! It has flown by so fast for me and I think for them too! I'm so excited to have her here! I need some more estrogen in the house. Too much testosterone these days! Work is great...I am LOVING my new position as surgery scheduler for the vascular surgeons. I think I'm doing a good job too. So there is the update on my not-so-adventurous life. It may not be grand and fabulous, but it's perfect for me!!!

So much change....

Tomorrow is move out day! We are so excited to be going on to the next step. It's a larger more upscale apartment than the one we're in now. Also, Justin and Jillian (Cody's brother and his fiance) will be moving there too!!! That'll be nice to have them that close. The only thing that I am not happy about is the fact that we are leaving the current apartment on Wednesday and don't get into the new apartment until Thursday....That part sucks! It will be a struggle balancing all that since we will be further away from my family and both of our work places and all of our friends, but I am confident we can do this!!! Out with the old....In with the new!!

R.I.P. Molly 08-03-08 to 07-19-09

My sweet baby Molly passed this weekend. She had eaten something that got lodged in her colon and it was just there too long. The vet tried, but she just didn't make it. I have had dogs before...ones that died. I have never been this devastated by the passing of an animal before. She wasn't my dog, she was my baby. She was a part of every single aspect of our lives. Our entire day everyday was a routine that involved her. He was so smart and full of personality. There is no dog that could ever match her. She truly was one of a kind. She will be greatly missed. She was in our lives for only a short time, but she will remain in our hearts forever! We love you Mo Mo!!! Give Grandma Fisk kisses for me!!!

I forgot to post these pictures on here from I don't even remember when! We went to Main Event with Justin and some friends. We ate dinner and bowled a few games. I was introduced to the Cupid Shuffle...It was a fun night!

Upcoming Move

So, Cody and I are moving to Allen, TX in August. We have to be completely out of the apartment on the 5th and don't sign the lease at the new apartment until the 6th. That'll be fun! It actually shouldn't be that bad. We'll just have to stay the night somewhere on the 5th. ButAHH! The new apartment is AWESOME! It's going to be 2 bed/2bath, around 1200 sq ft, GRANITE counters, PLUCH carpet....I really can't wait. I'll post pics when we get in there. The BEST part is Justin and Jillian ae moving there too! We're in building 5 and they're in building 4! How AWESOME is that?! I'm just excited. Thought I'd share!

This weekend....

was a BLAST! Cody and I had so much fun together! I have really come to enjoy staying home and being just the two of us. Of course I still love hanging out with other people and going to do things, but I don't feel a need to be constantly entertained anymore. I'm loving it! Friday night I met him up at work and from there we went to the grocery store to pick up a few necessities...and other non-necessities! Then it was off to the apartment to eat dinner and color my hair! I went a little bit darker than I have in the past, and the risk paid off! I LOVE my new color! I didn't at first because it was such a drastic difference! I'm pretty sure Cody likes it too. So the rest of Friday was just chill. Saturday we slept in! When we got up we did a little bit of cleaning up and Sims playing (which we have found that we enjoy doing together). Then the day really got started! WE wen to Kim and Dennis' house and played the Wii. I won bowling by a LOT! I bowled a 223 which is my highest EVER!!! Dinner was at Chili's which was yummy!!! I highly recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch quesadillas! Once we stuffed ourselves to the max, we headed out to the MAIN EVENT of the evening! RASCAL FLATTS concert! It was my first real non-free concert. They are AMAZING in concert! It was SO humid!!! We had such a great time together! Sunday was even more shill than Saturday! Slept in again. Played more Sims. Went to the in-laws for dinner and some hanging out there. From there we went to my step-dad's store and tried helping him with a new computer program....Not as smart as I thought I was!!! Oh well! While I was doing that Cody and Justin were at the apartment doing what boys do! Came home, played the Sims alone while they hung out, and then drifted off into sweet slumber. So that was the entirety of my weekend. It was the best one I've had in a long time! Enjoy the pics!!!
